Founded in 1919, Cummins Inc. is a globally leading provider of diversified power solutions. Headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, USA, it is one of the first Western diesel engine companies to localize engine production in China and the first foreign-funded diesel engine company to establish a research and development center in China. To uphold the company's globally advocated corporate responsibility and diversified corporate philosophy, promote the common development of enterprises and universities, and strengthen cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Cummins (China) Investment Co., Ltd. decides to establish a scholarship to support the student training program of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Dr. Lim achieved remarkable accomplishments in the field of diesel engines and enjoyed high prestige in the industry. He not only had unique insights into the development of diesel engines but also made important contributions to Cummins' development in China.

The scholarship amount is 5,000 yuan per student per academic year.
